Cyber Defense Solutions (CDS) has several openings in support of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) IT Support Services (ITSS) contract in Fairborn, Ohio (WPAF near the Dayton, Ohio metropolitan area).
Clearance Level: Secret security clearance is the minimum to be considered.
Citizenship: US Citizenship
Location: Fairborn, Ohio (Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB)
Minimum/General Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in the field or equivalent. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Functional Responsibility: Troubleshoots network access problems and implements network security policies and procedures. Ensures network (LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice) security access and protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree (additional 4 years). Requires a DoD 8570 IAM I certification (CAP, GSLC, or Security+). DoD 8570 IAM II or IAM III certifications may also be considered.
